An Óige - Cork Kerry Regional Group

The An Óige Cork Kerry Regional Group is the only leisure cycling group based in Cork City. It has been in existence since 1953; most of our events begin outside the Opera House, especially our Summer Thursday Night Cycles which run from April until early September.  During the Winter months we remain active, with a cycle on Saturday mornings.

For the Thursday Night Cycles, there are usually four cycles, depending on numbers: a short (social) cycle for those who may not have been on a bike for some time, one (or two) medium cycles for the slightly fitter people, and a long cycle, for those who are well used to cycling.

Joining the group is simple: arrive at the Opera House, with a bike in good working order, with a pump and a helmet, plus spare tube, and that's pretty much it! Oh! And a smile would not go astray!
